Biography:
Mick Hayes is the top emerging artist in Western New York today. In addition to already being a multi-award winning guitarist and vocalist, Mick was recently inducted into the Buffalo Music Awards Hall of Achievement. He has opened for Dickie Betts, Peter Frampton, Survivor, Hill Country Review, Dave Mason, Los Lonely Boys, Robin Trower and the Doobie Brothers in the last three years and has just recently taken the lead in a kids TV series called Captain Chuckleberry.

Once a contestant on American Idol in San Antonio Texas (Season 6), you might also recognize the Buffalo native from the A&E television series Confessions Of A Matchmaker where Mick played an aspiring artist looking to settle down with Mrs. Right.

Last year Mick Hayes launched his own Artist series of guitars through Songhurst Guitars (Spokane, Washington) and received several other endorsements because of this including Amalfitano Pickups (Keller, Texas) and another west coast company called The Rock Slide.

Mick has done a large number of commercial jingles and some voice over work as well in the business and while all of these accomplishments come with a great pride it's Mick's Songwriting that has only just begun to flourish.

“Mick Hayes is the real thing!
Awesome voice, great groove--What we need more of in this world!”

Billy Sheehan - Legendary Bassist
David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, Steve Vai

Mick Hayes plays the blues like it wants to be played. I gotta' find out what amp he's running through. The coolest stuff I've heard in a while. Feels real good. Love it,

Formerly of Chicago and Sons Of Champlin
